Turck BI3U-EM08-AN6X-0.23-PSG3/S771/S1579 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-EM08 series, featuring a black moulded plug body that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is housed in 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel with a PA (Polyamide) sensing face, ensuring durability. It connects via a pre-wired 23cm / 9" pigtail cable that terminates with a 3-pin M8 Picofast snap-lock male connector. This sensor has an M8 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN) with a sensing distance of 3mm. The sensor is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode and has an M8 thread size.
