BI8-M18E-VP4X-H1141 Description
Turck BI8-M18E-VP4X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M18 series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The shape of the sensor is an M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a current consumption of 15mA under no-load conditions. Its sensing distance is 8mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and it supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
