BI8-M18-AP6X-H1141 Description
Turck BI8-M18-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-M18 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity and has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor's maximum switching frequency is 500Hz, with a response time of 8ms. It provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
