Turck BI5-M18E-AN6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M18 series. This sensor features an extended barrel embeddable design with a chrome-plated brass housing and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor has a shape of an M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and has an ambient air temperature range for operation between -25°C and +70°C. The response time of the sensor is 8ms / 0.008 s, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.). The sensing distance is 5mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit rated current is 200mA / 0.2 A, with a thread size of M18, and operates in a NO (Normally Open) mode.
