Turck BI8-G18-RDZ30X2 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-G18 series, designed for embeddable installation. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including nominal values of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). The sensor is housed in chrome-plated brass, ensuring durability, and features a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable with bare end flying leads for connection. Its M18 fully threaded barrel shape allows for straightforward installation, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire pow. MOSFET output) and boasts a sensing distance of 8mm. Additionally, it is equipped with protection functions including output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP), operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode, and features an M18 thread size.
