BI5U-M18-AP6X Description
Turck BI5U-M18-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M18 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing, a PBT sensing face, an EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, and it has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz, a sensing distance of 5mm, and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
