BI5U-Q12-AN6X2/F2 Description
Turck BI5U-Q12-AN6X2/F2 is a proximity sensor within the BI...-Q12 series, designed for inductive sensing with an alternate oscillator frequency that allows for embeddable installation. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) housing and sensing face, and features a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket for its pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable, which terminates in bare end flying leads. This model has a 12mm thick rectangular body and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and is suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The BI5U-Q12-AN6X2/F2 features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 5mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode for this sensor is NO (Normally Open).
