Turck BI5U-Q12-VP6X2-0.2-RS4.4T is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-Q12 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA12-GF30), with a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It has a 12mm thick rectangular body and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 5mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode allows for NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
