Turck BI5U-EM18H-AP6X2-H1141/S395/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM18 series. This sensor features a Stoneface Weldguard coated, embeddable design with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and a Duroplast sensing face. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2.5kHz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The digital output is 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a sensing distance of 5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
