Turck BI2-M12-AP6X-0.3-RS4T/S100 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-M12 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 30cm / 12" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions, with a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
