Turck BI2-EG08-AP6X-V1131 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing and a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, ensuring durability and resilience. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for easy integration. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), offering a compact and efficient design. It boasts an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. With a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz and a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, the sensor ensures timely and accurate detection. It has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA / 0.15 A. The thread size is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C.
