BI2-M08K-AP6X Description
Turck BI2-M08K-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M08 series, designed as a short barrel embeddable unit. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a sensing face and end cap made of glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP-GF20), and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m or approximately 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 partially threaded short cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2.8kHz or 2800Hz, with an ambient air temperature operational range between -25°C and +70°C. The response time is 8ms or 0.008 seconds. This model includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA or 0.15 A. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
