BI2-EH6.5K-RP6X Description
Turck BI2-EH6.5K-RP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EH6.5 series, designed with a short barrel embeddable form. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is a 6.5mm diameter smooth short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. With a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz, it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI2-EH6.5K-RP6X has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode for this sensor is NC (Normally Closed).
