BI2-EG08-AG41X Description
Turck BI2-EG08-AG41X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-55Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a durable 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a sensing face and end cap made from glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA12-GF30), and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) shape ensures easy installation, while its IP67 degree of protection guarantees resistance against dust and water ingress. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 300Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It offers one digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; low voltage drop; 100mA max.) and has a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 100mA / 0.1 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
