BI15U-CP40-VP4X2/S10 Description
Turck BI15U-CP40-VP4X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP40 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor is housed in a PBT-GF30-V0 material, which is glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, and features a sensing face made of PA6-GF30-X, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The maximum switching frequency is 250Hz, and it has a response time of 8ms or 0.008 seconds. This model includes 1 digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 15mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and it supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) with complementary outputs.
