Turck BI15U-CP40-FDZ30X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-CP40 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including nominal values of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). The sensor features a housing made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0) and a sensing face of glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA6-GF30-X), ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm (Combiprox) with a terminal chamber, offering an IP68 degree of protection against ingress. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 10Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The BI15U-CP40-FDZ30X2/S10 provides one digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire power MOSFET output; 400mA max.) and features a sensing distance of 15mm. It includes protection functions such as output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP) and offers an operating mode that is programmable to be either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC).
