Turck BI15R-Q14-AP6X2-0.2-RS4T is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q14 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0). This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It has a 14mm thick rectangular body with a 15mm ring, ensuring a compact form factor. The device offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It has a maximum switching frequency of 8Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) and features a sensing distance of 15mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
