BI15-K40SR-VP4X2 Description
Turck BI15-K40SR-VP4X2 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-K40 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and an M16x1.5 entry for connections. This model has a 40mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape with a terminal chamber, offering an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 150Hz. The response time is 8ms, and it includes one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 15mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
