Turck BI15-K40SR-FZ3X2 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-K40 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). The sensor features an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and an M16x1.5 entry for connections. The sensor's shape is a 40mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel with a terminal chamber, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. This sensor includes 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire; 300mA max.), with a sensing distance of 15mm and a control circuit rated current of 300-400mA / 0.3-0.4 A. It supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed), which are programmable.
