Turck BI15-EM30E-AP6X-H1141/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM30 series, designed with an extended barrel Weldguard coated for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in 1.4301 (304) stainless steel for durability. This sensor features a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation and has an M30 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 300Hz. It provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) with a sensing distance of 15mm. Additionally, it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode of this sensor is NO (Normally Open), and it has an M30 thread size for mounting.
