BI15-EM30-AP45XLD Description

Turck BI15-EM30-AP45XLD is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM30 series. This sensor features an embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 8.4-64Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 60Vdc. It is constructed with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft TPE-jacketed cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor adopts an M30 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. It operates with a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -40°C and +85°C. It features 1 x digital output (8.4-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA, a sensing distance of 15mm, and a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. The operating mode for this sensor is NO (Normally Open), and it has an M30 thread size.
