Turck BI15-EM30-AP45XLD/S100 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM30 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 8.4-64Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 60Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft TPE-jacketed cable with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C, and includes one digital output (8.4-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions, with a sensing distance of 15mm and an M30 thread size. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
