Turck BI15-CP40-VP4X2/S100-S10 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP40 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made of PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The maximum switching frequency is 150Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +100°C. The response time is 8ms, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) for connectivity. The no-load current consumption is 15mA, with a sensing distance of 15mm. It features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
