BI1.5-H08-Y1 Description
Turck BI1.5-H08-Y1 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-H08 series. This ATEX compliant, embeddable special version is designed without an LED indicator and operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an 8mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape and offers a degree of protection of IP67. With a maximum switching frequency of 5kHz / 5000Hz, this sensor can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 1.5mm.
