BI1.5-EG08-Y1-V1131 Description

Turck BI1.5-EG08-Y1-V1131 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series. This ATEX-compliant, embeddable special version is designed without an LED indicator and operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The sensor is equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connection and has an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) shape. It offers a degree of protection of IP67 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 5kHz / 5000Hz and includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) with a sensing distance of 1.5mm. The thread size is M8.
