BI15-CP40-VN4X2/S100-S10 Description
Turck BI15-CP40-VN4X2/S100-S10 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP40 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, designed for Combiprox applications, and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 150Hz and has an ambient air temperature range for operation between -25°C and +100°C. The response time is 8ms, and it includes one digital output supporting 10-65Vdc, NPN, with a maximum current of 200mA. The no-load current consumption is 15mA, and it has a sensing distance of 15mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
