Turck BI15-CP40-VDZ3X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-CP40 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, and 250Vdc). The sensor and its sensing face are housed in a PBT-GF30-V0 material, which is glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, ensuring durability. It features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor's shape is a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. It offers a degree of protection of IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The maximum switching frequency is 10Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI15-CP40-VDZ3X2/S10 provides one digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire power MOSFET output; 350mA max.) and features a sensing distance of 15mm. It supports both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs for versatile application.
