BI15-CP40-FZ3X2/F2-S10 Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck BI15-CP40-FZ3X2/F2-S10 is a sensor designed for proximity detection within the BI...-CP40 series. This inductive proximity sensor/switch features an embeddable design and operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including nominal values of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). It is constructed with a PBT-GF30-V0 housing, a material known for its glass fiber-reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate composition, ensuring durability. The sensor is equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. It has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. This part offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is designed to function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. The BI15-CP40-FZ3X2/F2-S10 features a single digital output that supports both AC and DC (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc) and offers a sensing distance of 15mm. Its operating mode can be programmed to be either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC), providing flexibility in application use.
