SMU315FVQDP Description
Banner Engineering SMU315FVQDP is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SMU315 universal voltage series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for precise control. This sensor is housed in a thermoplastic casing with glass fiber, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector for easy installation. The SMU315FVQDP operates on a wide supply voltage range, accepting 24Vac-240Vac (with 200Vac / 220Vac nominal) and 24Vdc-240Vdc (with 48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nominal), making it versatile for various power supplies. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure attachment and boasts a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and multiple NEMA standards (1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, 13), ensuring its resilience in diverse environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape and offers one digital output (SPDT relay contact). It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and responds to changes in light with a quick response time of 20ms (0.02 seconds), capable of operating in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes.
