SMU315DQDP Description
Banner Engineering SMU315DQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector. It supports a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and 24Vdc-240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.), making it versatile for various applications. The SMU315DQDP offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in diverse environments. Its rectangular shape is equipped with 1 x digital output (SPDT rly. contact) and can detect objects up to a sensing distance of 380mm. The sensor operates with an infrared (IR) light source at a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s. It features an operating mode that allows for both Light-ON and Dark-ON activation.
