Banner Engineering QS30AF600 W/30 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system and comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy integration into existing systems. Part of the QS30AF series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, suitable for demanding applications. The QS30AF600 W/30 can detect objects within a sensing distance of 50 to 600mm using visible red light at a wavelength of 660 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for versatile application use and provides quick response times of 5ms / 0.005 s with its digital output (PNP/NPN transistor).
