QS30AFQ Description

Banner Engineering QS30AFQ is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. This sensor incorporates a background suppression system with TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy and quick connection. Part of the QS30AF series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, suitable for demanding environments. The QS30AFQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The sensing distance ranges from 50 to 300mm, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm for detection. It offers versatile operating modes, including Light-ON and Dark-ON, and features a digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
