QS30LDQ Description

Banner Engineering QS30LDQ is a Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications. It features a diffuse mode with TEACH mode functionality and is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy connection. This sensor is part of the QS30 Diffuse-mode Laser sensors series and is designed for mounting via an M30 threaded mount. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The QS30LDQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. The sensing distance is up to 400mm, and it emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
