Banner Engineering QS18UPA is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The QS18UPA offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and operates at a 300kHz transmission frequency. The sensor's housing is made from ABS material, providing a robust structure. It has a sensing distance range of 50 to 500mm and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for connectivity.
