QM26VPRQ5 Description
Banner Engineering QM26VPRQ5 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component within the QM26 series. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and is housed in a hygienic stainless steel 316L with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability in washdown environments, compliant with FDA standards. It features a pre-wired 7.5" / 200mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The QM26VPRQ5 offers a sensing distance of up to 8.5m and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 620 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The device requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is protected to a degree of IP69K, indicating a high level of protection against ingress.
