QM26ENXLPCQ5 Description

Banner Engineering QM26ENXLPCQ5 is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and features a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. This sensor is FDA compliant, making it suitable for washdown environments, as indicated by its IP69K degree of protection. It is pre-wired with a 7.5" / 200mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The QM26 series sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from hygienic stainless steel 316L housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. The sensing distance reaches up to 2.6m, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 620 nm. It offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for versatile application, and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
