QM26VNLP-5M Description
Banner Engineering QM26VNLP-5M is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and is housed in hygienic stainless steel 316L with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, suitable for FDA-compliant washdown applications. This sensor is part of the QM26 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP69K. It features a pre-wired 5m cable with bare end flying leads for connection and supports a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The QM26VNLP-5M has a rectangular shape, provides a sensing distance of up to 3m, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 620 nm. It operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
