QM26VNAF400-5M Description
Banner Engineering QM26VNAF400-5M is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and features a background suppression system with screw adjustment. This sensor is FDA compliant, making it suitable for washdown applications, and comes with a pre-wired 5m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. Part of the QM26 series, it offers an IP69K degree of protection against ingress, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from hygienic stainless steel 316L housing and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, designed to meet stringent hygiene standards. With a sensing distance of 400mm and visible red light for detection, it operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The sensor emits at a wavelength of 620 nm and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
