QM26VPLP-5M Description
Banner Engineering QM26VPLP-5M is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and features a retro-reflective mode that is FDA compliant, making it suitable for washdown environments. This sensor is part of the QM26 series and offers a high degree of protection with an IP69K rating. It is equipped with a pre-wired 5m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The supply voltage required for operation is between 10Vdc and 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from hygienic stainless steel 316L housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability and cleanliness. The QM26VPLP-5M can detect objects up to 3m away and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 620 nm for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
