Banner Engineering QMH26EPXLPCQ7 is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30 to +70°C and features a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It is FDA compliant, suitable for washdown environments, and has a hygienic shape, making it ideal for food and beverage industry applications. The sensor comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy installation. Part of the QMH26 series, it offers an IP69K degree of protection against ingress, making it highly resistant to dust and water. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from stainless steel housing and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. With a sensing distance of 2.6m and visible red light color at a wavelength of 620 nm, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor provides one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
