LE550D Description
Banner Engineering LE550D is a Class 2 laser displacement sensor, part of the LE series, designed with a triangulation system and an LCD display for easy configuration through TEACH mode. It emits a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 650 nm for displacement measurement. The sensor is housed in a die-cast zinc alloy with an acrylic window, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable featuring bare end flying leads for connection. The LE550D operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. It offers a sensing distance from 10cm to 1m and includes two digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) for integration into various systems. The sensor is protected against overload and short-circuit issues and is rated with an IP67 and NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments.
