LE550KQ Description
Banner Engineering LE550KQ is a Class 2 laser displacement sensor, part of the LE series, designed with a triangulation system and an LCD display for easy configuration through TEACH mode. It emits a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 650 nm for displacement measurement. The sensor is housed in a rectangular, die-cast zinc alloy body with an acrylic window, ensuring durability. It connects via a pre-equipped 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector and supports IO-Link communication protocol for versatile integration into automation systems. The LE550KQ operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. It offers a sensing distance from 10cm to 1m and includes one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for signal processing. Protection features include overload and short-circuit prevention, and it is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 and NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging industrial environments.
