LE550I Description
Banner Engineering LE550I is a Class 2 laser displacement sensor/transmitter designed for precise measurement tasks. It operates on a triangulation system and features an LCD display for easy setup and monitoring, along with a TEACH mode for simplified configuration. This sensor emits a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 650 nm for displacement detection. It is housed in a durable die-cast zinc alloy with an acrylic window, ensuring robustness in various environments. The LE550I is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for flexible installation. It offers protection against overload and short-circuit conditions. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. It is rated with an IP67 and NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for use in demanding conditions.
