SI3.5-K10-AN7 Description
Turck SI3.5-K10-AN7 is a sensor designed for proximity and inductive sensing within the SI...-K10 series. This special version is characterized by its absence of an LED indicator. It features a 15mm thick rectangular body with a 3.5mm passageway, constructed from glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0) for both the housing and sensing face, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The SI3.5-K10-AN7 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It has one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; TTL-compatible) capable of handling a maximum current of 200mA, with a sensing distance of 3.5mm. The sensor's current consumption stands at 10mA under no-load conditions, and it can achieve a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz with a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s. Its operating mode is normally open (NO), and the control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A.
