PS040V-304-2UPN8X-H1141 Turck Pressure Sensors

Turck PS040V-304-2UPN8X-H1141 is a sensor designed for pressure measurement with programmable compound pressure capabilities. It features a set point range of 1-100% and a reset point range of 0.5-99.5%, with measurement units available in bar, psi, kPa, MPa, and miscellaneous. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and has a 34mm diameter. It is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and a G1/4" (1/4" BSPP) threaded male process port. Part of the PS300 series, it offers an IP69K degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 18-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The cylindrical body sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 180Hz and is constructed from 1.4305 (303) stainless steel for both the housing and wetted parts, with a ceramics Al2O3 pressure transducer and a stainless steel pressure connection. It can measure pressure ranges from -1 to +40bar (-14.5 to +580psi) and supports the IO-Link communication protocol. The fluid medium temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, with operating modes that are programmable as NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed). It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity, with a response time of 50 - 600ms. The sensor provides 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc; can be used as a NPN/PNP digital output), boasting a set point accuracy of +/-0.5% FS, analog accuracy of ≤+/-0.5% FS, a response time of <3ms, repeatability of ≤0.5% of the measuring range, and zero shift/span shift of ≤0.15% of the measuring range per °C. It has a current consumption of 50mA and a time delay for ON-delay and OFF-delay settings of 0-50.
