Turck PS040V-503-2UPN8X-H1141 is a sensor designed for pressure measurement within a set point range of 1-100% and a reset point range of 0.5-99.5%. It offers multiple measurement units including bar, psi, kPa, MPa, and miscellaneous options. This sensor operates in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C and can measure fluid medium temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. It features a rotatable housing with a diameter of 34mm and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and a 1/4" NPT threaded male process port. As part of the PS500 series, it has an IP67 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 18-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The sensor's cylindrical body is made from 1.4305 (303) stainless steel, including the housing, wetted parts, and pressure connection, with a ceramics Al2O3 pressure transducer. It can handle pressures ranging from -1 to +40bar (-14.5 to +580psi) and supports the IO-Link communication protocol. The operating modes are programmable to be either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC), and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. The response time varies between 50 - 600ms, and it features 1 x analog output (4-20mA; can also be used as a NPN/PNP digital output). The sensor's measurement accuracy includes a set point accuracy of +/-0.5% FS, analog accuracy of ≤+/-0.5% FS, with a response time of <3ms, repeatability of ≤0.5% of the measuring range, and zero shift/span shift of ≤0.15% of the measuring range per °C. It has a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A, a current consumption of 50mA, and a time delay for ON-delay and OFF-delay settings of 0-50.
