NI8U-EM12-AN6X Description
Turck NI8U-EM12-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It belongs to the NI...-EM12 series and offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP68, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and features a partially threaded M12 barrel shape for mounting. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz and is constructed from durable materials including a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing, a PBT sensing face, an EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for mounting is M12. It includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity conditions. The current consumption is 25mA under no-load conditions.
