NI8-M18-AP6X-H1141 Description
Turck NI8-M18-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. Part of the NI...-M18 series, it features an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a chrome-plated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face for durability. It has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape, with a sensing distance of 8mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
