NI8-M12E-AP6X-H1141 Description
Turck NI8-M12E-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features an extended barrel design for enhanced application flexibility. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, ensuring easy and secure connection. Part of the NI...-M12 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is required. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a chrome-plated brass material for durability. It has a sensing distance of 8mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The M12 thread size facilitates straightforward installation. This model features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), capable of a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz and is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity conditions. The response time is quick at 8ms / 0.008 s, and the control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A.
