Turck NI20U-EM30-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. It belongs to the NI...-EM30 series and features a partially threaded M30 barrel shape. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing, a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental conditions. It offers a sensing distance of 20mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor supports a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz. It provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and incorporates protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
